Background – Originally from Glasgow, Simon graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design with a BA (Hons) Degree in Graphic Design. He moved to London in 2000 and has since worked with some of the most respected studios, agencies and designers in the industry across a diverse roster of clients and brands.

After gaining a solid foundation in the fundamentals of modernist design at renowned studio Cartlidge Levene, Simon joined acclaimed North Design where a collaborative process was key to the studio’s creative output. Later turning his attention to branding, working on strategic projects of greater scale with agencies Wolff Olins, Moving Brands and Saffron Brand Consultants where he worked closely with the late Wally Olins.

Simon’s experience working with independent design studios, where ideas are beautifully crafted with rigorous attention to detail, and strategic branding agencies, where there is a greater emphasis on the transformational effect on client’s business, give him a uniquely positioned perspective within the design industry.
